I’m feeling more and more disheartened with the process this year and for the first time have considered sitting my arse down and not voting in Noviembre. I’m just not convinced by either one that they can take our country where it needs to go. With regard to the Latino vote, I’m sorry to say that I’ve become my father’s daughter on this issue: it’s not going to change. We’ll forever be a scapegoat during election year, millions of $$ will be spent on getting our attention and yet nada cambiara. We can come out and vote by the millions. Y que? What is Obama going to do differently in the next 4? Oh yes, b/c I’m with perro. A woof for him. He’ll be in office again.

You are just the most clever writer. I love how you present the issues in a (tongue-in-cheek) way I can understand and laugh out loud about. You’re absolutely right. Both candidates have turned out to be a disappointment. Obama has made a lot of promises that he hasn’t kept. Whether or not he’s tried, only to be thwarted by the GOP is neither here, nor there. The reality is that under his administration, more Latinos have been deported than at any other time in history. You’d think that would make the GOP happy, pero no. And that’s the problem. His efforts to “work together” with Congress is sadly pathetic. It’s hard to work with someone who plans to do everything they can to work against you.

The question: Who’s the lesser of two evils? I guess I know my answer.
