TWLC’s Viviana Hurtado on NPR’s Tell Me More with Michel Martin Talks Keeping Up with Herman Cain & Kim Kardashian

OK, OK, OK.

Knock it off.

GOP Presidential nominee hopeful Herman Cain and reality super nothing Kim Kardashian are NOT an item.  They don’t exist in the same universe.  Unless you heard the “Beauty Shop” segment of NPR’s Tell Me More with Michel Martin.  This week I joined Michelle Bernard of the right-of-center think tank The Bernard Center for Women, Politics, and Public Policy and USA Today columnist and former President George H.W. Bush speechwriter Mary Kate Cary to talk about the Hermanator and his campaign surviving accusations of a 13 year affair, did Ohio go too far when a 2 year old boy was taken from his mother because of his obesity, and movie mogul Tyler Perry’s decision to cast Kim Kardashian in his next film in a role about a woman who makes bad life choices.

Really Tyler, if you (or Oprah for that matter) are looking for someone to cast as a character, foliage, whatever, your search is over.  I’ll even sweeten this deal by adding the telenovela wide-eyed stare.  We’ll really cross over your empire.  Have your people get with my people (that would be me).

[insert sound of crickets]

Listen here:

Should a leader’s–public official, candidate, manager–personal life influence his/her ability to lead?

Can anyone help me land a role on Tyler Perry’s movie or an Oprah/OWN show? (smiles)

You sound great on air! Completely agree with your commentary about Herman Cain. Personal life should be a part of political discourse. Y si pudiera, we’d both be on the big screen lol.
