Risotto is and can feature any of your favorite vegetables. The trick to a delicioso risotto is a thick consistency which requires patience–stirring the rice slowly so the starch binds with the broth, resulting in a creamy texture without adding high calorie butter or cheese. Just think: you’ll work out your biceps, getting you one step closer to “Michelle Obama” arms!

Contrary to popular belief, rice dishes are healthy meat-free meals because they are a source of protein and are packed with vitamins, minerals, and carbohydrates, making you feeling full. A more nutritious choice is brown or wild rice which are chock full of fiber, magnesium, and minerals. These whole grains can help reduce the risk of heart disease and high cholesterol.
